Inner Voice

There is a saying that goes, “The only constant, is change.” When we step back and contemplate these words we recognize the truth and wisdom they hold. I created this blog page with the intention of sharing the wisdom from a loving voice I heard deep within my being. To distinguish this voice from the mental chatter in my head, I called it my Inner Voice.

Each of us has an inner voice, but few of us are trusting enough to follow its loving guidance all the time. Yet that is exactly what I chose to do, live my life by the guidance I receive from my inner voice.

The difficulty arises when we are trying to sort out which inner voice should get our attention. Oftentimes we think our self-doubt and negative self-talk are the voices we should follow. But these voices don’t feel loving, nor are they supportive. Yet for some reason, they are the only voices we hear.

Our inner voice speaks the language of our true self. It is the voice of who we are when we strip away the façade we have created as a way to protect ourselves from the pain the outside world has caused us. That’s a big thought to contemplate, but the more we learn to trust this voice and then follow its guidance, the better our life will become.

An easier way to understand our inner voice is to consider it the voice of our intuition. If we listen closely, we notice our intuition is always looking out for our best interests. The reason is because our intuition has only love for us. We will never receive guidance from our intuition advising us to harm ourselves, those around us, or those with whom we disagree. The voice of our intuition is pure unconditional love.

I remember the day I made a promise to myself to never doubt my intuition again, and that I would live the rest of my life following the guidance of this loving voice. That was the day my life changed for the better.

This shift took time, I was so conditioned to listen to my negative self-talk, I was not accustomed to listening to a voice that loved me no matter how badly I felt about myself. As I began to experience positive changes in my life, I realized I needed to share what I was learning with the world around me.

Through these lessons I have written hundreds of blog posts, articles for online magazines, hosted journaling workshops, and up to this point, written three books. With these avenues for getting my work out to the world, I’ve decided to consolidate everything into one all-encompassing website, https://paulhudonauthor.com. There you can listen to podcast interviews with amazing hosts, check out my latest events, read new blog posts, along with links to purchase books, or sign up to receive my weekly inspirational article/newsletter.

I will be changing platform but my message remains the same, each of us is guided by an eternal source of unconditional love speaking to us through our intuition. It is my life’s work to encourage people to connect with this love so they can live to the fullness of who they are meant to be.

I am grateful for this Blogger site and the readers who made it a success. Now it’s onto something better, a bit more user friendly. This will be my last post on this site, although I’ll try to keep it active for as long as I can. All future posts will be on my new site. I look forward to seeing you at https://paulhudonauthor.com

Peace and well-being, Paul
